Delete your account.

You have the right to delete your Blind Launch account — or just specific parts of your data — at any time. Here's exactly how to do both and what happens when you do.

01 · Delete from the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the app. No email required, no waiting period.

Tapping Delete Account in Settings will immediately and permanently remove:

This action is immediate and cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your account is gone.

02 · Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app — lost device, unable to log in, or any other reason — you can request account deletion by email.

  1. Send an email to blind@blindlaunch.com from the email address tied to your Blind Launch account.
  2. Use the subject line: Account deletion request
  3. We will verify ownership and process the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been fully removed.

Can't access the account email? If you no longer have access to the email address tied to your account, contact us at blind@blindlaunch.com and describe your situation. We'll work with you to verify identity through other means.

03 · What gets deleted

Whether you delete in-app or via email request, the following data is permanently removed:

04 · What we retain

After deletion, one category of data is retained:

Anonymized aggregate vote data. The aggregate statistics derived from your swipes (e.g., "63% of people kept this product") are irreversibly de-identified — they contain no email address, no demographic tag, and no identifier that could be linked back to you or any individual user. This aggregated data cannot be reversed or re-associated with your account, and is retained to preserve the integrity of creator analytics.

No other data is kept. We do not maintain shadow profiles, backup archives of deleted accounts, or any form of soft-delete that would allow reinstatement without your consent.

05 · Partial data deletion

You don't need to delete your account to remove specific data. The following can each be cleared independently from within the app.

Swipe history

Removes all swipe records linked to your account. Products you have previously swiped will reappear in your feed. Your account, saves, and submissions are not affected.

Saves

Removes all bookmarked products from your account. Your swipe history, submitted products, and account details are unaffected.

Demographic information

Age and sex, if you provided them, can be removed at any time by clearing those fields in your profile settings. Once removed, your votes will no longer contribute to the age and sex breakdowns shown to creators. Your account, history, and saves are otherwise unchanged.

Other partial requests

For data you want removed that isn't covered by an in-app control, email blind@blindlaunch.com and specify exactly what you'd like deleted. We will process the request within 30 days and send a confirmation email once complete.

06 · If you never created an account

If you used Blind Launch without signing in, no personally identifiable information is stored against you. Swipe activity from anonymous sessions is recorded under a random device ID that contains no name, email, or contact information.

Uninstalling the app removes this device ID from your device. Because the ID is anonymous, we cannot identify which swipe records belong to you, and there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
