Privacy policy.

Blind Launch is built on the idea that honest feedback requires anonymity. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.

Effective date: 27 May 2026

01 · Who this applies to

18+ only

Blind Launch is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

02 · What we collect

Anonymous swipe data

Every swipe — pass or keep — is recorded against a device session ID generated on first launch. This ID is a random identifier with no link to your name, email address, or any other personal detail. Anonymous swipe data is what drives the aggregate stats (e.g., "63% of people passed this product") that creators see.

Optional account information

Creating an account is entirely optional. If you choose to sign up, we collect:

Your email is never shown to creators, never used for marketing, and never sold. Age and sex are stored only in aggregate — individual values are never exposed.

Product submissions

If you submit a product for review, we collect:

Submitted content is public within the app — it will be shown to other users as a card to swipe on. Do not include personal or sensitive information in a product submission.

Saves and swipe history (logged-in users)

When you are signed in, your saves and swipe history are stored against your user account so they sync across devices. You can delete this data at any time from the app's Settings screen.

03 · How we use your data

Aggregate creator insights

Creators who submit a product can view a private dashboard showing aggregate stats for their product: total swipes, pass/keep ratio, and breakdowns by age range and sex. No individual user's data is ever shown. A creator cannot tell who swiped on their product or what any specific person thought.

Future aggregate research sharing

We may in the future share anonymised, aggregated trend data (e.g., category-level swipe patterns, demographic distributions) with third-party research partners or publish it as public market research. This data will never contain information that could identify an individual user. We will update this policy and notify users before any such sharing begins.

What we never do. We do not sell personal data. We do not run targeted advertising. We do not share your email address with anyone. We do not build individual behavioural profiles for commercial purposes.

04 · Storage and infrastructure

Blind Launch is built on the following services:

All data is stored and processed in the United States. By using the app you consent to this transfer and storage.

05 · Your rights and controls

Clear swipe history

You can wipe your entire swipe history at any time from Settings → Clear swipe history. This removes all swipe records associated with your account from our database. Products you have already swiped will reappear in your feed.

Delete your account

You can request full account deletion by emailing blind@blindlaunch.com from the address associated with your account. We will permanently delete your account, email address, saved items, and swipe history within 30 days. Aggregate statistics derived from your swipes may remain (they contain no identifying information).

Anonymous users

If you have never created an account, no personally identifiable information exists for us to delete. Swipe data recorded under an anonymous device session ID cannot be linked back to you once the app is uninstalled.

06 · Cookies and tracking

The Blind Launch mobile app does not use cookies or third-party tracking SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Meta SDK, no Amplitude). The only network calls the app makes are to Supabase for data operations and to content delivery networks for product images.

07 · Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we collect or use data, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify signed-in users via email. Continued use of the app after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
